Hello from Greenville SC - I am also a member of the Greenville Woodworkers Guild (hope y’all will come back to visit us soon)
My grandmother purchased this Tiger Maple Server in 1968 for $495. She has written on the receipt that it dates to the 1720-1740s “Transitional Period William & Mary and Queen Anne c. 1720-40?”
What are your thoughts? Is the time period correct?
I’m fascinated by the cotter pin type of fastener used for the drawer pulls.
On the website 1stDibs I have found a similar item priced at $15,000. How is something like this valued?
Thanks
Will Morin
