Tilt-top Piecrust Tea Table

This is the second piecrust table I have made, with both table tops coming from the same 36" X 96" X 5/4" thick board. The top is made from one piece of crotch mahogany.The carving around the edge is carved from the 5/4 top. I got the plan for the table in Franklin H. Gottshall?s book, Heirloom Furniture, published in 1962 by The Bruce Publishing Company.
