Delaware Valley Chapter will be meeting at the Goggle Works Art Center in Reading PA on Saturday 19 October 2024.
Doors will open between 8:30 and 8:45am. The meeting will begin at 9:00am.
We have two really terrific presenters lined up: Ron Tatman will be presenting/demonstrating Windsor chair construction techniques, and Evan Germann (professor from Thaddeus Stevens College) will be presenting/demonstrating bent lamination techniques.
MEETING AGENDA
8:30 - 8:45am - doors open
9:00am - meeting begins with a synopsis of SAPFM Chapter and Association News
9:30am - a short show and tell among members (bring something if you wish to participate)
10:30am - 15 minute break
10:45am - Ron Tatman will be presenting/discussing/demonstrating Windsor chairs
12:00pm - lunch break (there is an area available to sit and eat if you bring your lunch)
1:10 - 2:10pm - continuation of Ron’s presentation/demonstration
2:10 - 2:30apm - break/set-up for next presenter
2:30 - 4:30pm - Evan Germann will be presenting/discussing/demonstrating bent laminations
4:30 - 5:00pm - final remarks, meeting adjourned
